Need help with Wrp400

Hello

My Linksys wrp400 stopped working for me after i had virus some outher bad things dont know what it was.

I cant find it .

I have tried 192.168.1.1 and 192.168.15.1 but could not find the router .

Then i did try to press the reset button.I did it many times 5-70 sec

and after that i did unplug the electric cord for more than 1 min.

But still no luck fiinding it.All lamps are lit internet,power,4 lan,wireless and the round lock

is also lit.

Is it possible to open it and reset it inside the box(if there is a backup battery).

Or is there any outher way to do it or update the program from a mac or pc.

Probably the firmware of your WRP400 is damaged.

Check the warranty and ask for an RMA.

If it not possible, you can use a protocol analyzer like Wireshark to capture the outgoing packets sent from WRP.

You must check ARP or TFTP.

From gratuitous broadcast ARP request, you can get the IP address of a device.

From TFTP packets you can check if WRP ask for a recovery firmware.

If no data are sent by WRP  your router is dead.
