need to add multilayer switch in GNS3

Hi,

I have nice experience working on GNS3 .. but i want to check some layer 3 feature link , VSS etc. I cant do in GNS3

is there any option to add devices like 6500 switch or multilayer switches?

Please share the info. it would be great help for me to get details about it

Hello Vinod,

dynamips/GNS3 does not support hardware based platforms as there is no way to emulate ASIC chips on C6500 various linecards.

the best option is to use a cisco router with a 16 ports etherswitch module in order to make practice with IOS based lan switches
