New CCNA exam (can't find correct location to post this)

I know this question is under the wrong topic but I am new to this community and I can't seem to find the right place to ask this question.

I'm concerned about the new changes to the CCNA exam. I am currently doing an evening college course once a week for CCNA and the course is due to finish at the end of December this year. This then gives me just under 2 months to take the 200-105 ICND2 exam before 23rd February (I passed the ICND1 exam earlier this year). 

My concern is that if I fail will I get another chance to re-sit the exam? Or will I have to take the new CCNA exam if it's after 23rd February which I won't be prepared for because I won't have learned the new content? 

Chances are if I fail the exam there might not be enough time to book another before 23rd February. I am really worried about this.

Hi there,

If you are taking the ICND path, then you will need to pass both of them before the deadline as neither exams are included in the migration.

"If you already have Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician (CCENT) certification and would like to earn CCNA, you have until February 23 to complete your CCNA certification in the current program. As of February 24, you will need to take the new exam to complete CCNA certification."

Thanks for the reply. My concern is what happens if I fail the exam? I only have less than a 2 month window after my course finishes and it can be difficult to book a resit in such a short space of time. I wanted to know if I would get another chance to take the ICND2 exam after 23rd February if I fail it the first time and cannot find another exam date before this date?

I don't know where to ask this question which is why I am posting on here and my college are not aware of this information yet.

The ICND2 exam will no longer be available after the 23rd.

Why not book the ICND2 resit exam now. If you pass it first time, I think you will have enough of a lead time to ask Pearson Vue for a full refund.
