Do you mean the serial interface?
Corss over cable is for ethernet interface. Serial interface should serial cable

You dont need cross over cable, you can use normal cable.

@leyakhath muhammed has 2 posts about this. In the other discussion 2 important points were made:
1) if connecting router serial ports back to back then one device must provide clocking. In the posted config both devices try to get clock from the network. So one of the configs must be changed to provide clock.
2) when connecting serial ports back to back you do need a special "serial crossover" cable.
If both of these points are addressed it should allow the connection to work.
