OC3 With 1 GB Link

i have 1 question could  i connect OC3 port of Nortel ATM switch to 1 GB Port of cisco Switch C3850 on Fiber.Are these Ports are Compatible ??

while the physical characteristics of the fiber connectors may look similar, thats where it ends.
