Old Cisco Switch needs password reset

I have one Cisco Router 2800 Series, two Cisco Catalyst 3500XL and one Cisco Catalyst 3550 which need a password reset.

I'm going to start my CCNA studies and I'm planning to use these Cisco equipment for it.

When I connected them through the Serial Port COM1 running the program SecureCRT and I tried to go from User Mode to Privileged Mode they are asking for a password which I do not know.

These are old Cisco equipment the company I work for doesn't use anymore and my company is sending me to study CCNA and I would like to have "Hands On" practice on them.

What do you recommend to do?

Any information about it would be really appreciated if you send it to my E-Mail: ittech5253@gmail.com

I received the new Cisco MEM2800-128CF= I bought in Amazon.

I put it inside the Flash Card Slot in the Cisco 2800 Router.

I read in the Cisco website I must download Filezilla and install it in my laptop. I did it but I don't know how to use to install the IOS in the new Flash Card.

I've never done this before.

How do I install the IOS in the new Flash Card?

You need to connect your PC to an ethernet interface on the router and give your PC an IP address, let's just say 10.1.1.1 /8. You may need to use a crossover cable too.

Not familiar with Filezilla, but as long as it does TFTP you should be OK. Have the IOS in the root directory of the FileZilla application so that you don't have to specify a path on the router.

Hopefully, the 2801 has the tftpdnld option, and follow the attached procedure:

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/routers/2600-series-multiservice-platforms/12714-76.html

Give the router a 10.1.1.2/8 IP address and specify the TFTP server as your PC.
