Our customer has an existing Cisco ASR1002 (not a ASR1002-X). The router is configured with the following (See BOM below). We have to add a 2nd GE WAN interface to the router for transition. To add a 2nd GE WAN circuit, do we just require an additional GLC-SX-MMD SFP? Or do we also need an additional SFP-GE-T too? Note: I know the ASR1002 is EOL, but the customer wants to reuse the equipment in place today.

Is the plan to use the built-in ports or a port off an SPA?
The parts GLC-SX-MMD and SFP-GE-T are the same kind of part for a different media (fiber and copper, respectively). The part you need depends on the media the WAN is using.
