OSPF ABR route filtering

Hi,

Area 0 is connectd to area 1 by two routers R1 and R2 area border routers. We need some routes to be sent to back bone area by router R1 and remaining all to be sent to backbone area by R2. so that when data from back bone , for some destinations will be sent to R1 and some will be sent via R2. This will form some kind of load balancing.

Please share the experience.

Any link on cisco.com is highly appreciable.

in your case you need to use OSPF ABR Type 3 LSA Filtering
