OSPF route expired? VRRP state changed....

Hello,

I have a problem. The VRRP state changed every 29 hours, see below for the loggin. I defined a tracking command to check if there is a route.

Tracking command: track 2 ip route 10.240.4.0 255.255.254.0 reachability

This route is learned bij OSPF:

O        10.240.4.0/23 [110/3] via 10.31.171.1, 06:08:28, GigabitEthernet0/0

What can be the problem? Are OSPF routes expired after 29 hours? Is the tracking mechanisme not the right one?

VRRP logging:

*Sep 17 08:49:21.488: %VRRP-6-STATECHANGE: Gi0/1 Grp 11 state Backup -> Master

*Sep 17 08:49:21.492: %VRRP-6-STATECHANGE: Gi0/1 Grp 11 state Master -> Backup

Well the VRRP with tracking is doing what it is supposed to do, that is, it changes state when it loses that particular route so I see no issues there. OSPF should refresh its LSA every 30 minutes which could be the issue you are facing. Check out the link below:
