This is one of the books that I have used to study OSPF deeply.  It's a bit old, but it will explain in detail OSPF

Normally I would start at CCNA level books then move to CCNP level, which exam is part of CCIE level now.  CCNP Route Official cert Guide is older book for old exam but is one of those good, even excellent written books that cover OSPF.
