Packet Tracer 4331 Router Gig0/0/0 two connections help

I am working on a lab in Cisco Packet Tracer and one of the tasks is configuring a 4331 router to have a dual connection on Gig0/0/0.

I am having some difficulty trying to figure out how to accomplish this. I have tried turning off the router, putting in a GLC-T in the second GE0/0/0 port, and turning the router back on to no avail.

Any help or solutions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

hi,

do you already have a cable connected to the built-in copper gig0/0/0 (left port)? you can only choose either the built-in copper or SFP (right port) for g0/0/0 and NOT both.

why note use the other built-in copper g0/0/1 port for the 10.0.0.5/30?

When I am attempting to connect them using the connections function on the main screen, I can connect one side or the other but not both at the same time. 

Here I have the left router(3) connected to the gig0/0/0 port however I cannot get the right router(4) to connect to Gig0/0/0 like in the lab picture in the original post using the connections tab at the bottom of packet tracer.

I was able to make what I needed to work actually work by plugging the right router(4) into gig0/0/1 and have nothing be affected. Which is good enough for me.
