I would like to report an issue I identified while using Packet Tracer during my preparation for the cybersecurity marathon. Following the instructions translated into Portuguese, I noticed an inconsistency in the email client configuration section, specifically regarding the domain for the incoming and outgoing mail server.
In the English version of the instructions, the domain is correctly specified as ''mail.cyberhq.com'' throughout the steps. However, in the Portuguese version, the domain is erroneously referred to as ''email.cyberhq.com'' in some parts. This discrepancy can lead to communication failures and hinder progress for participants relying on the translated material.
I understand that the translations aim to make the content more accessible to diverse audiences, which is greatly appreciated. However, I believe this specific translation error could negatively impact participants’ performance and cause frustration, especially in a competitive environment such as the cybersecurity marathon.
Additionally, I would like to inform you that I have successfully completed the marathon. While I managed to overcome this issue during my progress, it did create some confusion. Therefore, I believe it’s crucial to ensure other participants don’t encounter the same challenges due to this inconsistency.
I kindly suggest a review of the translated material, paying close attention to ensure that domains and configurations match exactly those indicated in the original language.
