Hello
I currently have a problem with one of my ASR9006, I have a pim6 process that consumes 25% CPU flat. On another of my routers with the same configuration this process is at 0%.
I don't use pim at all on my routers so I don't understand, moreover I have errors in my logs:
RP/0/RSP0/CPU0:Dec 19 14:25:41.232 : sysdb_shared_nc[439]: %SYSDB-SYSDB-6-TIMEOUT_EDM : EDM request for 'oper/ipv6-pim/gl/act/vrf/default/df-win/' from 'mibd_interface' (jid 334, node 0/RSP0/CPU0). No response from 'pim6' (jid 1183, node 0/RSP0/CPU0) within the timeout period (100 seconds)
RP/0/RSP0/CPU0:Dec 19 14:27:21.243 : sysdb_shared_nc[439]: %SYSDB-SYSDB-6-TIMEOUT_EDM : EDM request for 'oper/ipv6-pim/gl/act/vrf/default/df-win/' from 'mibd_interface' (jid 334, node 0/RSP0/CPU0). No response from 'pim6' (jid 1183, node 0/RSP0/CPU0) within the timeout period (100 seconds)
Have you ever had this problem? Do you know how to solve it?
I'm running iOS XR 5.3.4

- Google with prefix SYSDB-SYSDB-6-TIMEOUT_EDM lists quite a lot of bug reports from Cisco ; it does not explicit mention the post-sentence from your report, but it may be indicative that considering using a later software release may be advisable path. Another option is to disable ipv6 on the router if you don't need it.

- Routers can have various tasks/routing and or traffic patterns, then bug may emerge on a box and not on another box.
