POS INTERFACE TO E1 CHANNEL

I just bought an ASR 1001-x router with spa card (spa 2xoc12 pos). I want to devide pos interface into multiple E1 CHANNEL. But I couldn't understand how to do it. Is it possible? Please help me as quick as possible.

I am not sure you can configure anything channelized (E1 or T1) on the SPA-2XOC12-POS at all. Which controllers are showing up in your running config with the card installed ?

Hello @Sarbojit ,

you would need a special type of SPA that is named channelized .

A standard POS SPA cannot perform channelization.

see for example the following data sheet for 2 or 4 port OC-3 POS

In your case you will need an external box to be able to connect to an E1 or  more likely you can look for a SPA with 8 T1/E1 ports.
