boot: error executing "boot usb0:

Uhhhh ...

If the boot variable string points to USB, is there actually a USB flash drive in USB port 0?

of course !!!! it's just that i didn't mention the IOS name :)

if the usb drive was not plugged it will show " media drive usb: not present "

of course !!!! it's just that i didn't mention the IOS name :)

There is nothing wrong with the syntax.

There can only be two main reason why the router won't boot from USB, and they are:

1.  Either the file is missing or incorrect; or

2.  The USB flash is not supported.

SHA-1 hash doesn't match

Plug a console cable and reboot the router.  I want to see the entire boot-up process.  This error message is disturbing.

It cannot boot from USB, TFTP and event from the bootflash.

it always show : SHA-1 hash doesn't match

What is the config-registry value?  0x2142?

i have tried the 0x2141 and the 0x0

i have tried the 0x2141 and the 0x0

The correct value, for a router, should be 0x2102.

In Fact the problem was in the flash memory.

i have put it in a PC , format it and then boom it works.
