Hello,
the syntax looks ok actually. Can you try and upgrade the ROMMON (latest release is isr4200_4300_rommon_169_1r_SPA.pkg) ?

Although the image was copied and verified but I decided to use a different and a little older image:
isr4300-universalk9.16.06.03.SPA.bin
And it was installed and is working properly
Now I'm going to retry installing the first one and will keep everyone informed
Thanks

Yes, upgrade the ROMMON and if that does not help too, try downloading the image again. It could be a copy issue.

Thank you mhdganji110 I had the same problem going from 3.16.04 (new box from cisco) to 16.6.4
troubleshot it almost the same way
With your suggestion I loaded 16.3.7 with no problem, and after the reboot loaded 16.6.4
