Problem with module NM-2FE2W-V2 in 3825/3845

hi every one.i have got module NM-2FE2W-V2 for my 3845 router today but there is strange problme.when router boot up after decompresing the ios router crached and then reloaded,i test this module on 3825 and same thing happend.im using IOS ADVAVNCE ENTERPRISE 12.4(15)T for 3845 and 12.4.6T for 3825 so still i dont know why this happens.with cisco documents this module is supported on 3845 and 3825 but i cant get it work may be it is damaged or some thing that i dont know please give me you advice.thanks

They may say it's supported but truth is these modules are for an older generation of routers. If you need extra FE ports get HWIC-1FE or HWIC-2FE and be safe.
