Hello
We have a Cisco 2911 Router which has different VRF's setup and Route Maps to choose the next hop ip address depending on which VRF we want to use.
Anyway, it works perfectly when using a single L3 link between the Router (Gi0/0) and the Switch. However, when I want to use two links (Gi0/0 and Gi0/2) and setup a L3 port channel, the Routing stops working. Both ends of the L3 link are pingable and the Switch is advertising Routes to the router using EIGRP.
It appears that the packets are trying to use the global routing table instead of the corresponding VRF (dictated by the route-map) but only when etherchannel is used between the router and switch. When I change back to a single L3 link, the packets then hit the VRF.
Any ideas why?
Thanks
