Hi All
I have recently had a BT FTTP line installed, up to 500Mbit, the WAN port from the provider is presented on RJ45.
1.Is this still classed as an VDSL line?
2.Does it require a modem still using annex?
3.What router would be recommended for this ?

FTTP what delivered by BT not VDSL any more.
As per BT claimes, you can use any ethernet port should work. as per i know some people tried RV340 / RV 325 series of Cisco and success.

So would we will need to use a dialler interface if we use an ISR? and also use Pppoe?

I have not tried any Cisco router,
i used FTTP - with their delivery Router, since it auto extend WIFi to all over my home ( another repeater free of cost) - so no other AP required at home - before i use to have Meraki 2 AP to cover all home ( since saving cost - BT Free)
i have terminated NGFW FW to BT provided Router- happy all working as expected, only got 75Mb connection good enough for me.
