I am having an issue adding one of my devices into statseeker for monitoring. After working with their support they pointed me to a log stating that the snmp walk was recursive so the application stopped it and was unable to add the device. And of course they suggest that I contact cisco from there.
Does anyone know what causes a cisco router to do this or could point me in the right direction on how to fix this? The device is
WS-C3560-24PS running 12.2(25)SEB4.
SNMP is configured like this:
snmp-server community xxxx RO 2
snmp-server community xxxxxx RO 2
snmp-server enable traps tty
snmp-server enable traps stpx root-inconsistency loop-inconsistency

Not sure what they were referring to. I've never had any issues adding Cisco devices via SNMP. I've used many tools and never had any issues.
Their website says they are part of the Cisco Developer Network so they should know how to handle Cisco devices.
Can you do a manual SNMP walk?

It does appear that my solarwinds tool is able to walk without issue. Guess I just need to push statseeker support a little harder.
