So my Cisco 2851 is connected to my Surfboard 8200 Cable Modem (Internet-Spectrum -400Mbs down) and then connected to my Netgear GS724 Gigabit Switch (My All Gigabit Network)

So I would need a Router with 400Mbs Throughput and also I think it would need the ENTERPRISE Software so that I have Firewall.

what is the role of the router here ?  do your Surfboard 8200 Cable Modem - give you ethernet output, i would suggest to buy a Firewall than Router -  (this suggesting thinking that ISP handover ethernet with IP address ?)
