Hi Cisco,

Can you give us recommendation to replace our current router 2811 and 1841? For your information, our company is medium where about 250 people working. Cisco router 2811 will be at our main HQ and Cisco router 1841 will be at our 3 branches. If using Leasedlined serial in contact to our branches. On the other hand, we planning to used metro-E instead of serial. But, the serial port will be still have if the metro-E is not working.

Kindly give us feedback as soonest as we want to buy new router.

Looking forward for your reply. thank you.

You should be looking at the Cisco 4000 series.

A 4331 would probably be a good fit.

Hi

I recommend to check the following link, you can select the upgrade option and it will recommend the best option for you:

Similar to Philip's recommendation, I too would recommend you consider the low end side of the 4K ISRs.  Which model depends on your bandwidth needs.

Since you mention MetroE, you also might consider having a router for just the serial and a L3 switch for the MetroE.  You may find the combination is less expensive than a router that can deal with your MetroE bandwidth.  (Again, much depends on the bandwidth your MetroE will provide.)
