we need to replace several hundred sim cards in our various remote offices. I am looking to automate or script the process so that out field resources can just swap the sim and carry on. We will be moving to a new APN at this time as well. Can the new apn info be programmed in ahead of time and the activate automatically when the sim card is swapped out? In the case where we have dual sim slots would it make more sense to install the card into the available sim slot and have the connection fail over as soon as it detects the new SIM? we would not fall back as the original cards will be removed and deactivated. Would it be as simple, as adding a new profile and attaching it to the default sim slot?
