RIB failure in BGP ?

hi all

what is RIB failure in BGP ? in what conditions it is caused ? how can we avoid it ?

in my toplogy routes are not propogated due to bgp RIB failure ..plz help

It's usually when BGP cannot insert a route it has learnt from a peer into the routing table because there is already a route with a lower AD. Have a look at this doc -

if it still doesn't help can you post some info so we can help further eg. "sh ip bgp" and "sh ip ro"
