Route summarization problem in ABR

Hi,

     We have a setup of OSPF network with multiarea configuration on leased line network.In ABR, i'm trying to configure route summarization, but i'm contineously failed to do that.

                Kindly help me to configure route summarization in ABRs.

One of the ABR OSPF configuration is given following:-

router ospf 100

area 0 authentication message-digest

network 10.10.34.0 0.0.0.255 area 0

area 4 authentication message-digest
network 10.10.35.0 0.0.0.255 area 4
network 10.10.39.0 0.0.0.255 area 4
network 10.10.42.0 0.0.0.255 area 4
network 10.10.46.0 0.0.0.255 area 4
network 11.1.1.0 0.0.0.255 area 0
network 170.133.0.0 0.0.0.255 area 0
network 192.168.7.0 0.0.0.255 area 0

Presuming from your config - you want to summarize area 4?

you need to use the "area range" command under the ospf process

area  range [advertise | not-advertise] [cost cost]
