Router enters in ROMMON mode

Hi,

Our network is down, because of the problem in flash card. The router enters in ROMMON mode after restarting. Could anyone tell me the command to boot the router using the IOS stored in TFTP server. We are using 1841 router.

use tftpdnld

use tftpdnld -r option if the flash is not usable

HI Sabari,

Do u want to copy IOS from tftp server  ? if yes then please follow the below given steps:-

rommon1 > IP_ADDRESS=

rommon 2> IP_SUBNET_MASK=

rommon 3> DEFAULT_GATEWAY=

rommon 4> TFTP_SERVER=

rommon 5> TFTP_FILE=  < address of the tftpfile i.e.IOS>

rommon 6> tftpdnld

then yes when it cisco reconfirms to check that you are sure
