Hi community
I am planning out a new network and have before just used a single router as a solution but I need some redundancy.
So I'd like to setup two ASR 1001-X routers. I have an ASN and IP block assigned to me. I am peering with one exchange that has over 100 provisers/networks using it.
So the exchange provides me with two 1Gb fibre connections. I will use one for each router. I know for the LAN side of things I can use HSRP for failover. Question being how do I configure BGP on both routers so that they are both available if one fails? Do I just advertise the route from both routers? What would the correct BGP configuration for this be?
Thank you!

Hello,
have a look at topologies 5 or 6 in the link below. Since you have two links, you might as well leverage what you have and configure load sharing in addition to failover...
