i have cisco 2600 router connected to Pix firewall the router serial interface is connected to Internet and fastethernet 0/0 is connected to my Pix firewall i have a pulic server hosted in DMZ and my Internal lan connected to Pix accessing Internet .everythin is working fine but once or twice in a day my internal network is not able to access internet and i have to do shut and no shut on my fastethernet 0/0 then everythin works normally i feel the fast interface of router sort of hangs but when i give the show interface command it gives "FastEthernet0/0 is up, line protocol is up" but unless n until i do shut and no shut nothing works Pls advice what could be the problem Thanks
Thanks for the help i am getting 8 input errors the output of sh int fe 0/1 is attached herewith and i am using ipunnumbered fe 0/0 on my serial interface i have a 2 mpbs link which isnt fully utilised .
