Router is saying route-map "match local preference: not supported inbound or outbound bgp.

Hi,

I have 2 ASRs and 1 ASA. I'm trying to use route-map with match local-preference to filter what routes will be sent to the ASA from the ASR.

But when I try to use it the ASR will tell me that I can't match local preference on the inboud or outbound for BGP neighbor. Is this correct?

% "bgp_to_asa" used as BGP outbound route-map, local preference match not supported
% not supported match will behave as route-map with no match

% "ibgp_in" used as BGP inbound route-map, local preference match not supported
% not supported match will behave as route-map with no match

The routes are being influenced by PfR and PfR changes the local preference of the routes when it wants to force another exit. So I want the ASA to receive only the default route and the routes with specific local preference, meaning it was changed by PfR.

But the router is not letting me do it since I can't match the local-preference in or out. The router I'm configuring is a route reflector that has an iBGP connection with the border router, so the local pref could be filtered coming in the the RR or going out to the ASA. But neither will work.
