Hi,
I have two router and two serial cable
Cisco 2620 + Smart Serial cable V.35 DTE(male)
Cisco 2501 + DB60 Serial cable V.35 DTE(male)
I want to connect two router by serial cable
Cisco 2620<-->Smart Serial Cable V.35 Male<-->V.35 Female-to-Female V.35<-->DB60 Serial cable V.35 Male<-->Cisco 2501
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
is this possible ?
If possible, what about V.35 Female-to-Female pin-out ?
thanks

No, that is not possible. You must get a cable that is DCE female.
The reason being, the router side of the cable has certain pins shorted that will make the router understand it must become a DCE and provide clock.
Hope this helps, please rate post if it does!
