Router RV320 not working with USB dongle Huawei E3372

Hi,

from days I’m trying to configure a CISCO RV320 as 4G backup with Huawei E3372 dongle, but is not working

I’ve upgraded the router with firmware 1.3.2.02 and I’ve reset the router to factory default.

I’m able to ping google dns (8.8.8.8) but there’s no way to surf internet; the weird thing is that the dongle assign a private ip to the USB device (192.168.8.100) due to HiLink

Device name:

E3372

IMEI:

865035030613327

IMSI :

222104601837311

My number:

Unknown

Hardware version:

CL2E3372HM

Software version:

22.315.01.00.1080

Web UI version:

17.100.13.02.1080

LAN MAC address:

BA:AB:BE:34:00:00

WAN IP Address:

10.109.8.24

The USB dongle is on the list as approved, but actually is not working; I tested a 3G dongle and works witout issues.

How can I have a 4G bakcup ?

Any ideas?

Hello everyone,

I can see a lot of people have this problem.

Has anyone submitted this to Cisco?

Can anyone have it working in either software version?

Greg

I had submitted it on dongle_support@cisco.com but didn't get any response (months ago).

I also tried zte mf110 and Huawei E173 with latest firm (this sticks are stick mode) none of them worked.

I think the firewall on hilink blocks the traffic.

Even the tplink archer c7 handles all the above sticks perfectly (it's a commercial router), and of course Mikrotik's router handles them all also with the proper AT commands that are all posted on wiki support (no hassle on trial an error @all)

Cisco is pathetic on cellular support...

I saw that this model router is already out of support but in case somebody find some solution with the years passed ....
I saw that supported 4G dongle is Huawei E3372h-153 but by mistake ordered E3372-325 as I did not payed attention the last letter of the model and latter I noticed them. However E3372-325 is working well with Windows, but when I plug it in the router I got log message "unknown USB device". Has somebody had a luck to make this dongle model recognizable for this router?
