Routing on Nexus 5K

I have a Meraki MS390 that I'm using to setup my wireless network.  This switch is connected to 2 5K Nexus switches as a up link.  From there, I have distrubtion switches that have to go through the 5K to the MS390.  Routing has been setup but routing isn't going through that up link port to the MS390.  Instead it's taking another route and dropping.  What do I need to check on the Nexus 5K to make sure my routing is setup correctly?

If the Meraki MS390 is connected to Dual 5K ?  is the nexus 5K in vPC ? then on nexus 5K side to be vPC config towards Meraki switch too.

we need some configuration information on the nexus side,

Routing has been setup but routing isn't going through that up link port to the MS390. Instead it's taking another route and dropping.

tell us the IP information, what is the source and what is the destination ? along with requested some config information and show ip route to understand the issue correctly ?

Hello @dlynch ,

I agree that you should provide more details in order to get better help

For the moment for design checks you can use the following thread

https://community.cisco.com/t5/switching/routing-nexus-5k-when-vpc-is-involved/m-p/3297953

that refers to this Cisco design guide

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/ip/ip-routing/118997-technote-nexus-00.html

There are some supported design options and you need to use of them.

Hope to help

Giuseppe
