Can someone please point me to the right direction as to why my tunnel is not coming up?
My configuration looks like this:
explicit-path name PATH1
index 1 next-address ipv4 unicast 172.16.0.4
index 2 next-address ipv4 unicast 172.16.0.7
index 3 next-address ipv4 unicast 172.16.4.2
!
interface tunnel-te1
description FROM-ROUTER-TO-DST1
ipv4 unnumbered Loopback0
priority 0 0
signalled-bandwidth 100000
destination 172.16.255.2
path-option 10 explicit name PATH1
affinity f mask f
From Headend to tail end
I also have configuration very similar to the one above in the reverse direction
But still the tunnels show down/down? Why? Please help?

I face same issue, and after deep investigate the config of OSPF with MPLS TE Router-id is missing and after I config it then the tunnel is UP and work.

You have configured both signalled-bandwidth and affinity on the tunnel. You network might not be able to provide for either or both. You could try removing these requirements and see if the tunnel comes up. Can you also please attach the output from "sh mpls traffic-eng tunnels name tunnel-te1 det"?
