RV325 Port Mapping ...

Hello ...

Hopefully a quick simple question.

Migrated from a Juniper SSG5 to Cisco RV325 and need guidance

on Port Mapping.

Incoming communication from a web-client comes in on

TCP port 80 (IIS) and port 26000 (accesses a DLL).

Need to port map the external 26000 port to an internal

port 26001.

I have tried PAT with no luck.

Thanks in advance for your time.

Best Regards,

   ... Clay

Hello Clay,

under the Service Management tab, you can add a service and specify the external and internal ports. In the link below, scroll down to about the middle of the document:

http://sbkb.cisco.com/CiscoSB/GetArticle.aspx?docid=5b8b8dbc749d4c5ea96b680002e087f3_Configure_Port_Address_Translation__PAT__on_RV320_Router.xml&pid=2&converted=0

Hello gpauwan - thank you for your response.

I followed the instructions but am still having an issue getting the port to forward.

My process has been:

1. Create a firewall rule to allow WAN TCP port 26000 to Private IP 192.168.1.10.

2. Create a new Service called TEST as TCP protocol, External port 26000 and Internal Port 26001.

3. Goto Port Address Translation and add in the new service.

4. Save everything.

Is there a way to confirm this is routing?  Might I turn on logging and that would help.

Thanks again - Best Regards,  Clay.
