Setting clock on Catalyst 3560 switch

Hi,

I have set clok on Catalyst 3560 switch with command "clock set". it shows the correct time in show clock command. But after rebooting the switch it shows the original old time and date. how do we save this time and date? I have saved the running configuration to startup configuration. Can it be due to battery problem?

Please share the experience.

Any link on Cisco.com is highly appreciable.

Hello

This is normal as the 3560 does not have hardware clock. You'll need to configure NTP or manually set it each time it boots
