Shape VLAN ME3400

Hi Guys,

I have an ME3400 passing various services up to our PE. One of the VLAN services is a PW, I would like to shape this to 20Mb on the ME3400's outgoing trunk to the PE, when I try and enter this as an Outbound Policy, I get "Match VLAN is not supported this interface".

What am I missing? :)

Hello mrmeamotokeoto,

see the following related thread . It looks like it is a limitation of ME 3400 platform.

The suggested workaround is to classify frames and assign them to a qos-group on downstream ports using a different policy-map inbound.

On the uplink to the PE you can use class-maps that match the qos-group value in outbound in a dedicated policy-map.
