   HI.

Sorry If this question Is In the wrong forum , I wasn't sure where to put It.

I've Justed started studying for the CCNP.I Just read about the need for a 4 port NIC to connect real switches to emulated routers In GNS3.

Do I really need a 4 port NIC or can I Just use a single port NIC that supports trunking ?

     Thanks

from theory view you can use a single port NIC that supports trunking. but that means you will use just one switch with 4 vlan. however in the lab you may need separate switches with different configurations and settings.

Thanks for the Info. What about 3 usb to ethernet adapters ? Could I get by with them ?
