slow browsing

Hi,

I have the below topology

abc.jpg

Internet browsing is very slow for wireless users.  So i started to shut down one by one  to isolate any link issues, When I shutdown the 10g on the right side it worked fine .

So my question is why does it not affect to the wired users

Or only the  wirless users traffic is going to the link , if yes why wireless traffic is going through this link

How can i check the slow link without shutting down

(between core and dist ospf is running )

Thanks

Asymmetric routing

The WLC has two legs:  Are both links on an Etherchannel?

Hi,

The wlc has four legs. currently two legs only .

All four legs are in ether channel

There is a mistake in the diagram. Now two legs are connected to Dist1 , and there is no legs connected to dist2.

Even there is four legs , the problem was there

If I use the  same vlan in wired access there is no issue .(I mean If I use the ip of wirless cliens and assign on a wired client  ,wired client does not have any issue )

Thanks

Can you move the link from Dist1 to core?

Hi,

What is the benefit if I move the link. I can move the link .Now the controller and AP's are in the same vlan .

I am not sure the AP will join if I move the controller to the core .

And in your previous reply you said, the issue is related to Asymmetric routing?

But in a full mesh, it is understood there is always asymmetric routing?

Thanks

Move the links to the core and see if the issue persist or not.
If the issue goes away, then the issue is in the distro layer.

Hi,

You mean move  only the wlc to the core layer ,or move the users to core ?

Connect the WLC straight to the core (BYPASS the distro altogether) and observe if the performance improves or not.  Observe one to two weeks before concluding.

as other suggested, some where in the path having issue.

easy way diagnosis the issue is - since you have dual path, keep shutdown one path and see if the problem resolve. if not bring up that links and shutdown other one and test (Hope this is same suggested by @leo)
