socket error and timed out in cisco 2811 routers while updating new ios using tftp

hi sir,

i am getting socket error while copying ios to cisco router2811 using tftp, our lab has 3 routers of same ,i could update only one but other two has problems in coping

one is socket error and another is timed out

please help me out in this issue.

Can the routers ping the TFTP IP address?

got the answer there was a problem with ip address, there was no ip address for fast ethernet
