solution for load balancing

Hi everybody

we have too many servers in our office.

we want to have 1 ip with load balancing for example for 2 application servers . so, i\our goal is if we call this ip address, the load balancer divide the request between these servers.

I think SLB is one of the solutions,but we have 4503 switch , that I think SLB support only in 6500 series.

could you pls guide me for another solution.

Hi,

cisco is coming out with a new appliance for SLB, details to be announced. In the meanwhile if you have a router it can be set for "poor man" SLB with NAT.
