Spanning tree Status

I have spanning tree enabled for bridging of legacy HP DTC's. A sh spanning-tree displays the following on one of the ethernet ports on our 2611 router: "Port 3 (Ethernet0/1) of Bridge group 1 is self-looped" What does self-looped mean and is it a bad condition? None of the other ports on the router are self-looped , they are all forwarding.

Thanks

This link should give you some idea about self-looped ports.
