hello
im only gettin half of what my internet speed shold be when im connected to the router.
when i connect to the modem directy from my pc, i have 50-60 down....
not sure what the problem is, any help whould be great...

Hello, it appears you are running into a hardware limitation in the router. Most entry level routers cannot pass traffic at "line rate", so even though your device has a 100Mbps connection it can't make use of all of this traffic.
According to the following document (Under the "Performance" header) the Cisco 500 series router is rated for ~8Mbps of traffic with "IMIX" traffic (that is a mixture of feature sets like NAT, VPN, ACL's, etc) or ~30Mbps with 1400 byte packets.

So getting 50Mbps through this router is already beyond what the hardware is rated for. :-)
If you need 100Mbps with light features then you may want to look at something like a Cisco ISR G2 1941.
