SRP and POS

Hi,

Is its possible to convert SRP interfaces to  POS interface type. basically i need to use PPP in SRP interface.

Hello Duleep,

SRP and DPT interfaces use two fiber rings it cannot be a point to point interface

As far as I know you cannot use PPP on an interface like this.

Actually an SRP interface is made of two SDH/SONET interfaces to connect the device to the two rings

Thank you for your reply. I just wanted to know is there any possibility to convert SRP to POS interface. According to given links, SRP is dedicated for specific purpose.
