Hello Community,
I have a ASA 5510 and would like to configure SSL VPN, I want to have clients connect to the VPN.
When I do a Show Version, I can see that there are 50 licenese.
I am using pure CLI and do not know where I should start with configuring my VPN.
I have researched online and see that there are many commands, I just want to make sure I dont mess anything up.
I know I have to start with crypto.....

Hi,
Here is a document you can follow. Actualy ASDN is very easy to use, if not the cli commands are in the document too

Great link.
I am a little confused, I am not getting the clientless options. It looks like there are 3 different types of VPNs.
1. Clientless VPN
2. Thin - client VPN
3. SSL VPN Client
Here are the types of VPN's I am used to:
1. VPN that you install on a computer, install a certificate, give the user a username and password.
2. SSL VPN (OpenSSL bought by baracuda) you go to a URL, Type a username and password, then launches RDP window into the server of your choice.
I am not sure which of the above match. I am just confused. I would like both if possible. I definately need port 443 used. Can you also tell me if port 443 can be used for any of the VPNs?

It looks like using the CLI for VPN setup is very difficult, I just have to setup the GUI. I am guessing that I should go with the SSL VPN Client which looks like the traditional VPN.
