Static routes pointed to a BGP learnt next hop is missing

I have a couple of routers connected via eBGP. 165.2.3.5 is learnt via BGP

I have a static route

ip route 19.12.12.12 255.255.255.255 165.2.3.5

Route to 165.2.3.5 is lost and after that the static route is also not to be seen in the routing table. Although it is still in the running configuration.

Any insights please !!!

Hi

Could you please share the configuration of both BGP routers including the interfaces. Is the IP 165.2.3.5 the next hop? I think the static route will not be displayed if the next hop is not reachable.
