Static routing while using exit-interface and next-hop-address at the same time but two different ways

Can anyone help me out b/w the static route along with using exit-interface first than next-hop-address and static route using next-hop-address first  than exit-interface?

What platform is this on?

Normally when you specify the exit interface then next-hop IP, the route is removed from the routing table when the interface goes down.

I've not seen it configured the other way before.
