Storm control for Multicast on CAT6500

Hi,

I'm trying to configure following command for Multicast traffic control on FE interface of CAT6500 with IOS version :12.1(26)E1 , Sup2/MSFC2.

I'm getting following error.

MLS-88-2(config-if)#storm-control multicast level 1

Command Rejected: Multicast suppression is not supported on Fa3/6

Can any one help on this ?

Please check the Cisco doc. as below that only part of the GE support multicast storm control.

i.e.If you are using FE interface, it can't support.

Thanks. So Whether Sup1/Sup2 , MSFC2 will not support Multicast strom control on FE interface ?
