Cisco Support,

Please kindly help to clarify the technical feasibility of the Cisco ISR 4431.

  • Whether the built-in WAN/LAN port could be configured as switch port in dedicated access VLAN?
  • Whether the built-in WAN/LAN ports could be configured to running for L2 switching?

Hi

No the 4331 is a dedicated ISR router pure layer 3 all ports that come as standard  , you can purchase a switch module for them though

Here are the supported modules list for 4000 series
