Is there any way to filter out ACL logs from the buffer so only messages about interface drops or OSFP peer drops are logged? On an ASA I know I can filter out specific messages and send to a syslog server, is there something similar in IOS?

Hello,
I believe you can achieve some level of filtering using logging discriminator command.
Please check the below CCO documentation for reference:
http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/ios/netmgmt/command/reference/nm_book/nm_09.html#wp1062700
Hope this helps.

Thanks, I did see that document, but I didn't see any configuration examples that showed the various commands.

There will always be some difference between IOS features and ASA features but I think this doc shows what you were looking for (partially if not completely).
