Hello,
We have a new T1 circuit that was tested out by the engineer as working. The Telco sent us an adtran router, but we are going to use a cisco router instead. We cannot get it to come up for more than a second. They are saying the circuit it fine, but we cannot get it to work.
I am attaching output of show ip int brief, show int ser 0/0 and the config on the cisco, and the config they gave us on the adtran. Everything seems fine, the circuit comes up for about 2 seconds, then drops again.
This is the log output:
01:36:13: Serial0/0(out): StEnq, myseq 125, yourseen 0, DTE down
01:36:23: Serial0/0(out): StEnq, myseq 126, yourseen 0, DTE down

Attempts:
Changing clock (line, and internal)
Changing encap from frame-relay to frame-relay ietf.
Changing encap to ppp
Any ideas on why I cannot get it to come up?
Thanks,

Is the a wic-1dsu-t1 interface? if so you will specify the linecode, frameing, and timeslots, clocking should be from the line or external, and encapsulation on the main interface. on the subinterface specify the dlci and the ip addressing.
Or doit all on the main with no sub interface.

Problem Solved - I had to set the no keepalive option.

The keepalive had to be turned back on in the end. What happened was Verizon did not activate the line, they said it was. I opened a trouble ticket, and they stated it was active, no problem. After further investigation, they said they did not have it activated. All is well and working now. Thanks for your help.
